Smoothies and Juicing

Before I got my PowerMan Juicer by Jack LaLane, I was making smoothies every day for lunch. Smoothies are very healthy for you, and I recommend that you try to drink as many as you can.

You will get lots of vitamins and nutrients from the real fruits that you are putting into the smoothie because none of them have been pasteurized and put in a jar, but if you do not have the fruit available and have some juice, I would recommend that over nothing at all. Make sure that all of your fruits and juices are Organic!

Energy Savings

Around my house I try to make it as energy efficient as possible. I figured may as well spend a little bit more money one time, then have to pay for it every month over the long term, so here are a few tips that I have done to lower my energy bills and save me some money in the long run. Oh… Yeah… It’s also good for the environment!

It seems that in today’s day, everyone is trying to be Eco-Friendly or Organic or just wanting to cut their energy needs so that they can save some money. There are many projects that you can tackle to create a more eco-friendly home or have a more energy efficient home. It all starts with the desire to want to make a difference, either for yourself, your home, or the earth. If you have a desire for one, you in turn make a difference for all three. Here are a few tips to help you out:

Change Your Light Bulbs
Put Jugs of Water in the Freezer
Get a Programmable Thermostat
Reuse
Recycle
Compost
TV and Computer Monitors
Rechargeable Batteries
